First thing you notice is the warnings which tell you that you must change the belts and filters every two months (they do include an extra belt). Second it is noisy as all hell. Third it is not a lightweight as I thought -- the 25' cord must weigh 5 lbs alone. Having said all that it does pick up well and the little upholstery brush works well too. But you might look around before you buy this one.
