(More customer reviews)After much research (6 months) for what to look for in a vacuum, bag vs. bagless, quiet, hepa filter, strong suction, I decided on this Bissell.This machine is easy to propel across carpet and picks up things even in the very corner of its path, which my Hoover never did. I needed a machine that would vacuum both carpet and tile and pick up cat hair.This Bissell Powerglide has power, excellent suction, even for cat hair and is a breeze to operate.The added option of the hepa filter is great the Bissell quieter than the Hoover.I could suggest this vacuum to anyone without any reserve.I actually look forward to vacuuming now which I used to dread when I had the Hoover.
