(More customer reviews)The first Kenmore upright vacuum I purchased (model 37100) broke in 6 months.The bracket that held the brush melted and it could not be repaired.The repair center told me to get a replacement since it was under warranty.The replacement vacuum (same model) broke within a year (burning smell while running) and the repair center said that it could not be repaired and instructed me to get a replacement.Sears would not honor the warranty because the replacement vacuum broke just after the year was up for the first vacuum even though the warranty on the replacement vacuum was still good.Sears repair center said that "this line of vacuums is defective and have had many issues".Save your money and go with another brand!
