(More customer reviews)I purchased Bissell 2201-2 Swift Sweep Sweeper Bissell 2201-2 Swift Sweep Sweeper and was so thrilled with the unbelievable pick up such a light weight and inexpensive non-electric floor sweeper, I wanted to purchase a second one so I could have one upstairs and one downstairs and have no 'excuses' to do a very quick fast sweep-up on a regular basis.
I thought I was getting the same product.It was very similar, but the outcome of the multi-brush roller system on this and some of the other models (I've seen at least 4,5,7 roller brushes on various versions of the Bissell Carpet sweepers) WAS ASTOUNDING! ASTOUNDINGLY BAD!
The red 2201-2 has just one roller on the bottom and it works fabulously.It does seem to feel flimsy and rickety when pushing it around, but every time I go to empty the bin, tons of dirt and debris is collected.
Without realizing the difference, the 7 brushes pick up almost NOTHING.
NOTE: If nothing else, the more roller brushes are squeezed under the same sized shell, there is less and lees room available for the catch pan.
When I went to empty my new sweeper, I realized both nothing had been picked up, and that if it did pick up as much as the more simply one roller I first bought, the dust bin would be too small to hold the swept up dirt.
GO WITH THE RED 2201-2.
Even so, I there are so many variations within the RED units offered for sale, be very careful you are ordering what you want.There is a BIG difference in the effectiveness.
