It's very light weight makes it much more maneuverable than a large vacuum and I've been using it to vacuum bookcases and shelves and walls and ceilings that are up off the floor. It's got great sucking power for something so lightweight. The only problem I have with it is cleaning out the little dust bag inside. It has a tendency to tear if I'm not careful. Also, the end sometimes comes off (revealing the dust bag) while I'm vacuuming if I'm twisting it around too much.
