(More customer reviews)I've owned this product for over a year now, and while it does very well with picking up stuff on hard surfaces, it really does not do well on carpets, sofas, etc.Some other problems include:
1.Very noisy, much louder than even full-size vacuums
2.Attachments do not stay on very well

Some pluses are:

1.Very lightweight
2.Long cord allows for a good reach
3.Small, portable size

Overall, there probably are better ones out there, but if you can get this at a low price (I bought mine when Amazon had it for $5) it's a good, small convenient vacuum for small solid surfaces.

Providing the same suction as a full-size vacuum cleaner, this 800-watt turbo vacuum offers powerful cleaning in an easy-to-use handheld design. The unit comes with an extension hose, a cleaning brush, and a shoulder strap for added versatility and comfort during operation. In addition, its pet-hair attachment removes lint, pet hair, and more from upholstery, drapes, and other fabric surfaces. The vacuum cleaner includes a rinseable TapClean HEPA dust-cup filter, which traps 99.97-percent of allergens and microscopic air impurities as small as .3 microns. The unit's Intelli-Sense Filter Monitor electronically senses and illuminates when the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced to ensure peak performance. Both the HEPA dust cup filter and its removable cloth filter may be washed, but no more than once every three months, and they should be given 24 hours to dry completely before using again. For safety, the vacuum includes a motor-protective thermostat. If for some reason the vacuum cleaner should overheat, the thermostat will automatically turn the unit off. The vacuum measures approximately 9-8/9 by 7-1/2 by 5 inches and carries a three-year limited warranty.
