Pros:
- Has a nicer looking design than the Ultra
- Uses almost all of the same internal parts (so save the useable parts from your Ultra)
- Runs very well speed-wise

Cons:
- Came in an Ultra box with "XL" stickers put on: at first makes you wonder what you're getting.
- Does not seem to climb up the walls that well; this is even with the switch in the "3" position (this puts more spring pressure on the back flap so not as much water is sucked in from the back)
- The hose links seem noticeably lighter than the Ultra hoses; I hope this does not mean they are cheaper/poorer quality (time will tell)
- You can't buy it without hoses so you have to pay a higher price than needed if you have existing hoses that are good
